You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After a colleague recently did a 60-mile ultra-marathon with a bergen on his back in aid H4H, i'm starting to have hankerings for a long-distance charity cycling challenge.
There was recently a thread about the Wessex Way (Weston Super Mare to Eastbourne) which looks interesting. It goes without saying that it'd need some monster training, but if people can do the South Downs Way Double in 18 hours (on a singlespeed, too) then the Wessex Way must be within the grasp of a mere mortal within perhaps 36 hours, surely?
There's a few ideas for some long-distance rides here. Anyone got any more ideas? Links to blogs etc would be greatly appreciated!
