Currently bed-ridden with some shitty flu thing - couldn’t even manage quarter of a bacon sarnie earlier - WTF. Opted to listen to a BBC article about John Muir, the Scotsman who founded the US National Parks Service.
A very short but inspiringly insightful look at his harsh upbringing and ‘machine room’ accident before embarking on what would become a quest of epic proportions. Gonna listen and read more about him and other explorers.
