Couple of HB pencils and a set of cheap drawing pens off ebay
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F142897397863
Colours were random felt tips my son left lying around.

Thanks Robowns (assuming being tits is a good thing?!!?).

This is what I use. Whole lot was less than £10 at Hobbycraft

Faber-Castell Pitt pens - brush, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7
Uni pin 0.2 pen
Magic color acrylic ink
Seawhite A4 140gsm cartridge paper

Also tried some Posca paint pens that were in the sale.

Anyone fancy cracking on with INKVEMBER or starting STW all year art/drawing/ printing/illustration etc. thread ?

Mayby the STW hive could provide a stack of prompts for us 🙂

Thoughts 🙂

Not sure I could do another full month but a thread like the "what's the last thing you made" one but for art (any art not just ink drawing) would be good.

I do a few bit throughout the year I'd be happy to post if anyone would be interested. I'd definately like to see what others are creating.

I don't mind creating a general art thread - I'll have to have something to kick it off with, so give it a few days 🙂

One of you guys post :). I'm sure a kind MOD could tweak the title or initial posts words if required.

My pens are all revved up and ready to go 🙂

Looks good.. cheers Cougar.
I'm halfway through a ahem, piece.. without the daily Inktober rush, trying to do it properly. It's sort of a commission of a friend's dog. Should be done by the end of the week.
This was my girl, so it'll be similar but with better pens.

Gives you the sharing link (called Direct Link) which you just post enclosed in [ img ] tags (or use the IMG button on the bar), couldn't be simpler.

Nice @DezB 🙂 Could you go darker with the eyes at all? It would be a real shame because fur is a real challenge and the nose particularly is great

Yeah, pleased with his nozz - his paw came out well too (pic is a bit cropped). I'll try blackening the eyes a bit, see if it helps. cheers 🙂

Are we putting digital stuff up then? I've never done portraits before, preferring to stick to landscapes, but a friend asked for a commission for his girlfriend for her birthday, so I just drew this bloke...

I did this as part of the "Life Drawing" thing on Beeb4 last night. Turned out nothing like life drawing as you're drawing from the computer screen. Interesting exercises anyway. I wished for charcoal, but only had a 6b pencil which was a bit rubbish.
Anyway, quite pleased with my effort at the Foreshortening exercise.. rest were pretty crap as I'm no good at time-limited stuff

Nice use of perspective Dezzy Baby

I've posted his stuff up before but I love our local postie turned landscape artist Scott Sadlers use of perspective. He's just started doing some life drawing too

I used to love doing life drawing classes at college. I ended up always doing ink washes with rotring outlines applied afterwards. I'll have to dig some of my old piccies out.

Its massively beneficial to drawing pretty much everything. Nothing teaches you a better understanding of proportion and perspective as well
