im after some software to produce some basic info-graphics

Ive not used any paint/illustrator packages in over 8 years and id class myself as a beginner (but im not completely useless) so im after something pretty simple to use with a short leaning curve

There are websites which will create various charts for you, but none are as flexible as doing it yourself in illustrator. R is another option, but that has a massive learning curve.

Crucially, what do you mean by infographic? And what are you trying to produce?

I've been known to use PowerPoint for quick'n'dirty infographics. No skills required.

Inkscape is free and (I think) is the sort of thing you're after.

Are you new here? The correct procedure is to start a thread asking someone to produce them for you

PowerPoint has more than enough tools to produce infographics.

Please don't give us some extra-large numbers with '%' signs next to them, and a few meaningless bubbles connected by arrows, and call it an info-graphic, though 🙂
