I am thinking of getting an inflatable canoe to use on the (quieter) parts of the thames.

Anyone got one? Recommendations most welcome!

I've got a Sevylor Hudson.

Dont use ut as much as I would like but its pretty good. Solid and very well made. Easy to blow up and put away etc,

we have a sevylor colorado. harder work than a proper canoe but easier to transport and store

Got one of these, it's great. We've taken it on the river loads and even paddled a bit of the Pembrokeshire coast on/in it. (sorry about the link I'm not good with posting pic's!) 🙂

Hudson is a kayak, colorado is a canoe so i guess the first question is "is it actually a canoe you want?"

Not sure if they're available in UK, but got my missus a Gumotex Palava a few years ago. Tough, quick and easy to set up. She's very happy with it.

you can get gumotex in the uk, we test 'drove' one, probably a bit nicer than the sevylor but was double the price and couldn't justify that
