Mrs RicB managed to drop a glass jar on, and crack, our AEG HK654200FB induction hob.

All the elements still work so I'm sure it just needs a new glass top (£210!). Is this something I can fit myself or will I need specialist tools? AEG website lists the spare glass top and it looks like it just clips on, although it does have touch controls so not sure how they connect.

Failing that are there any good repair places nr Leeds? Called a couple but they don't repair induction hobs 🙁

Glued to the back of the glass if its anything like ours.

Next question, what glue for induction hob touch controls?

I replaced a cracked glass on our Bosch induction hob. It was really easy but I would dismantle your hob before you order new glass to see if it's possible. Our controls were sat behind the glass and not glued to the glass.
