Getting physio for wobbly knees and i've been told I have poor balance. Always fancied one of these but are they just a gimick?

Will probably look for secondhand if they are any use

Really good for broken wrists after a beer or two.

If your uncertain try a LoLo ball. Looks like a football with a platform round it. Or Saturn good and cheap and you can go hopping round the house on it or try skipping on one. Use a longer rope than normal though.

You can make your own, dead simple. Piece of ply with an end stop at each end, a thick card or plastic pipe for the roller. To slow the roller down half fill it with dry sand. You will obviously need to make end caps to keep the sand in. The smaller the roller the easier it will be.

I use pop bottles filled with water of varying sizes and a old skate board.
