Remember him well at Keele. Could sometimes be a little odd. Not sure the film is completely accurate.
It's one of my favourite films ever.

Lou macari strikes me as an extremely caring individual, did he not have a homeless shelter place set up pretty bloody fast when COVID came?
He's had a homeless shelter for years. I played a fundraiser function for them sometime pre Covid. Fairly bizarre evening as I've found with lots of these sporting benefit events. Obviously it's a fantastic thing that Lou Macari does with his foundation....I'll leave it at that. Nello was there that night, sat with a lager shandy looking fairly fed up all night, he is a lovely bloke though!
