Can you try and get an OEM switch which will fit into a spare slot in the dashboard? Would look much neater than a universal switch

Just a thought is the wiring there buried in the loom?

I know some cars have the same loom and Just have empty loom plugs for sub systems

Try the demon tweeks website for lights and after market loom bits. ( Or the vw classic websites as we have a fair amount of imported cars in the uk)

That's a nice ride btw. There are a coulpe in leam that are nice I've always wanted one.

And my bus and bug have always had my mods declared on the ins forms it's cheap as chips to do.

Autosparks website for bits and bobs .

Be a bit more expensive but you'll get a far better looking switch than the crap on eBay...... Which may or may not matter mind .... The eBay crap works well I have them in the bus for the aux lighting/fans and usb outputs but if it was my car I'd want more factory looking
