Finally decided on a new roadie, (YAY, it's only taken me. 3 months!) went to LBS:
Me: Hi, I'd like to order a bike please. ('Dale synapse, ultegra disc model)
LBS: no worries, that's a great bike!
Me: hope so!
LBS: there's a bit of a wait for them since the review came out, they've been popular!
Me: oh?
LBS: ah. Next one available is 8th March.
Me: (crushing disappointment abound) that's fine (sad face)
LBS: obviously if we can get it sooner we'll let you know!
Anyone else going mental awaiting a new bike that's not gonna be here for eternity?

Tried a rocket, wanted to like it but didn't gel.
Probably online stuff but "big" purchases I liek to get from local peeps, then at least if it goes tits up I can launch it through their shop window and make a big fuss!
Besides, it's gonna rain until mid feb anyhow!
