You mean Blaize? Not the best or most original burlesque performer but certainly marketed herself very well. If you've never been to a burlesque night, I would highly reccomend it.

Actually she was quite keen to make that point. It was the interviewer that was trying to create a division. Ms Blaize said something along the lines of "I [i]am[/i] a stripper. I take my clothes off for money."
There is clearly a distinction though. Not many (female) strip clubs have audience that is 50% female and very vocal. Nor do many lapdancers employ a giant telephone as part of their act.
