Taking the youngest one to see Avatar on Tues
I can see it at the local Showcase place in 3D or drive a couple of hours round trip to an IMAX place
The price is only a couple of quid difference so is it worth the drive?

book online though as it tends to be sold out.
The imax at bradford does a family ticket for 4 for £24. That actually comes in cheaper than cineworld.

Oh!

That might be bloody awful, it was busy last Friday when I went but only as busy as say a normal Saturday. This week with the schools off and dread to think. However, the IMAX there is just huge and the sound is immense.

Imax experience is ace BUT... they've no individual specific seat booking, so the one in Brum everyone queued @ the screen doors up an hour beforehand, and then rush in to 'grab' the best seats - not exactly a relaxing experience and imagine a lot worse with kids in tow.
