I'm getting a little frustrated. I currently have a domain which is currently being hosted on a platform which is due to end its life shortly.
So I have purchased a new hosting package with the same company. So now there are 2 email (both imap) boxes set up, one on each info@mydomain.co.uk both the same email address.
Whenever an email is sent it goes straight to the old hosting platform, but not the new one, also if I remove the email box on the old hosting platform, all emails sent to the address, bounce back.
I am backwards and forwards with the hosting company through support and I am getting nowhere, any suggestions please?
Have MX records been updated on the DNS?
Yes they are pointing to the 123reg MX records.
It's all down to them then... chase again tomorrow.
What does the NDR say?
They can't both have the same email address at the same time so the old one will need disabling before the other will work. You might have to disable the old one first and then wait a while...
