Fine on my phone but it's just a black bar aside the links for forum & classified on my desktop pc. Started last week i think

I can't see any way to logout so I can log back in, either.
Edit. I touched the black strip, centre screen, and it took me to the STW home page. Touched the black strip on the rhs, where the menu button should be, sure enough, the menu came up. So, the buttons are there, but they're just black. I logged out and back in. Still black.
Go to your Profile and then Preferences and find the Dark mode - first oprion (think it says Disable Dark Mode) - make sure that isn't selected and save preferences.

Ditto. It's because you've got dark mode on in your pixel settings. Go settings, search for dark mode. Disable. Sorted.
But also bear in mind dickbartons thing in stw itself.
They haven't hidden it, just not got all the styling sorted for all the variations of the site look...

Only on this site! I can’t remember why exactly but I disabled dark mode because something wasn’t looking right, since un-disabling it this time it looks OK AND the Singletrack logo is back.
Dark mode doesn't work on desktop for me. Mobile only. No idea why.
Can we just have one mode and one editor where everything works instead of multiple different not working versions?
Turned on fancy editor as all my edit buttons vanished but the quote function still doesn't seem to quote... no way am I investigating if I do or don't have dark mode on let alone changing it.
Save some hassle and just use the basic editor and if you do want to quote something add - quote - inside square brackets before the bit you want to quote and then add - /quote - inside square brackets at the end of the text you want to quote.
Is very easy to do and seems to save a whole load of hassle with a fancy editor which doesn't seem to work anyway...

True...and moaning about things not working when there is a simple solution is very nowadays...I appear stuck in the past...and you are very much the now. 😉
I was just flagging that there is a very simple and quick alternative to allow you to quote, but if it isn't for you, then no probs.

Ah I think this reminds me why I disabled dark mode in the first place!
There was an even simpler and quicker way but it's gone missing however that doesn't fit with your narrative does it?
