You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Not been particularly into video games for years, but I have to say this has got me so excited and reminiscing - hours wasted and got me into so many bands at the time.. 😎 🛹
Same! All the sequels were gash though so I really hope this one re-finds the original magic.

Likewise, I almost don't want to play it in case it spoils the memories!

Might just go and listen to Goldfinger on Youtube now 😀
Oh man, Pro Skater 2 on the Play Station was a huge part of hanging with my mates at Uni.
That and Tekken 2
Such carefree days
And what a soundtrack!
Might just go and listen to Goldfinger on Youtube now 😀
I bought the album after playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater!
Saw Goldfinger at the foundry in Birmingham 6 months after THPS2 came out, wicked gig!
OOhh .. I remember crazy 55 trick combos on the UFO base!!
DrP
They just made a quarantine version!
His finest moment...
I'm currently working my way back through the skate. series on the 360, and the control system for THPS feels awful clunky now. If they announced a skate. 4 then I'd be seriously eyeing up PS4 prices...
They were so good. When you started a level and Bad Religion came on, things were going to go down
Makes me feel old, first released in 1999!
Amazingly 1999 was also the year he pulled off the first 900, having spent the previous 10 years trying!
Last week someone finally landed the first 1080 on a normal half pipe...it was done by an 11 year old kid!!! The same kid first landed a 900 when he was 8!!!!! Insane..
The third one had the best soundtrack I reckon. Also the last decent game in the franchise. I have fond memories of carefree evenings with friends trying to get all the letters
I have to agree that Skate is a far better game and it's difficult to go back to THPS once you've tried it.

See, I was always better with The Ernies or Dead Kenndys. Primus was good for pootling about too but never anything record breaking.
I'm not a gamer but I'm quite partial to videos of broken skateboard games
Ragdoll physics might be this century's greatest development
Skate was really great.
A bit like GTA, you could just cruise around aimlessly having fun. I spent a lot of my youth playing THPS too.
Never played Skate but that video is making me want to. Love a bit of utterly broken ****nut physics. It keeps things fresh.
That video is very funny. There was also a game called Thrasher that had a great soundtrack and some good ideas. Difficult control scheme, but worked well once you’d mastered it.
Skate 3's pretty good, I wish someone'd make a DJ bike version of it.
I wasn't expecting that Skate video to be half as funny as it is. Almost crying with laughter at some of them 😀
