Yeehah. Finally moving out the batchelor pad with Mrs.C to the 'Burbs.

26 in May... I now have a shed.

[IMG] [/IMG]

What do I do with it! Apart from organise bike bits with the pedantry of a worker ant.

Turn it into a fortress to protect your steeds.

Or just get good insurance.

Buy a bigger padlock!

Edit - not that it'll make much difference

Doesn't look like its got a concrete floor, I'd start by getting the girlfriend used to the bikes being kept in the house.

Welcome to the League of Sheds 🙂

OK, it's only a 'starter' shed, but everyone has to start somewhere!

Personally I'd start doing it up by adding land mines, trip wire, Explosive Reactive Armour and a gun turret.

I have shed aspirations.

This is my actual owned 'ting so in the future the wall behind the shed, well that's the kitchen.

Planning permission? Simples.

Anyway, it'll fit screw-boxes & tools on one wall plus foldy-up tables & some hinged worklamps to keep space.

And a nice bit of Creosote.

Never mind the weeds, the glory of the shed will radiate pestillence to perennials.

What brown? 🙂

If you're going to keep bikes in it, I'd look at:

http://securityforbikes.com/beef-up-kit.php

And a better padlock and hasp and staple.

Oh dear...What a life I have ahead of me. I am 19 and already walk down the street lusting after everyones man cave...

I share your excitement in anticipation that one day I will also have a man cave to sit and hide...

What you really want is a small industrial unit (see Footflaps), or a garage with internal access.

Tis a joy to saunter from my carpeted garage into the kitchen to grab a brew and some biccies.

bradley, this has been an organic development.

Until I was 23, unless it had a party, girls & spirits in, I had no interest in a shed.

Caned myself into middle-quarter-age-life-crisis and bought a singlespeed,.

Now I have a beard that doesn't match the 'tache, baldness from the front disguised by flat-caps, Toms on my feet, a SS Inbred in the stand and a CAMRA pocket in my liver.

It just happens.

Thats not a shed its a timber wendy house. Take it down and put up one that is at least 7x5, preferably much bigger. You'll do nowt in that but get annoyed by how small it is.

I am currently planning shed no. 2 for my garden as shed no. 1 is full and too small really.
shed no. 2 will be within 3' of shed no. 1 such that there is storage space between the two. when shed no. 2 becomes full, shed no. 1 and shed no. 2 will combine to become shed no. 3. opposing pent rooves wil facilitate this.
I anticipate that it will ultimately look like this.
