After a false start, here is the rela 2021 Ifour picture quiz
Harder than previous years I think.
I've got to 45 and have gone through the usual scenarios:
right answers but to a different clue
repeatedly typing wrong answers thinking the website is broken and not me
Answers correct i wasn't even aware was a city
Seeing some clues but no idea why they're clues
can't even see some clues
think some things are clues but probably aren't
Enjoy.
If you're going to help others in the comments below, please make sure the clues are cryptic. more obscure the better. Don't want ot make it too easy
53 but now struggling
There goes the afternoon.
Git. 😝
Aside,
It's not obvious but the forum does support spoiler tags. Substitute 'fish' for 'spoiler' here:

At 40 and in similar position to op. If it helps anyone the answers do appear to include some fictional cities.
And that's how code obfuscation works 😉
If it helps anyone the answers do appear to include some fictional cities.
I did wonder that as there are a few film references but the selection I tried didn't work so I moved on. Is it definitely the case?
I got to 40 reasonably quickly but I've heavily slowed for the last 10 or so.
Scraped my way to 57 (on a long, dull conference call...). I can see 6 or 7 more clues. Where the rest are I have no idea.
58 (all real towns) - some of them are quite hard to see or I need new glasses
If it helps anyone the answers do appear to include some fictional cities.
Hmm, so why don't
Edit: I got the Superman one...
Certainly the green stone on the bench at the bottom left is fictional.
I'm taking a break on 65. There's at least 7 or so things I'm missing that are obvious clues, but I can't get them. I've no idea where the last few could be beyond those.
so why don’t
I've not tried, but should that be Foo City rather than just Foo perhaps?
Nope I tried that.
Hmm, so why don’t
...
work??
Both are real cities. One is not very well known but is a say-what-you-see
So did I, now.
This really doesn't play to my strengths, I get lost on the way to the toilet.
Is the Superman one
Once you've got that bit the rest should be easy. Pretty well known city
I've just got one that requires an insane knowledge of
Disappointed the anchor isn't Ankara.
I'm likewise stumped by the two fictional cities from various comic universes...
Also on the bench bottom left I'm sure I know as being
the 2 futuristic buildings aren't fictional 🙂
Bottom left bench one,
Also on the bench bottom left I’m sure I know as being
Spoiler:
but it doesn’t like it.
rearrange the letters to make another city in the same country and it works for me
i'm stuck on 52. unless anyones got any clues for the obvious clues i can't get i'll have to do some more work!
- pig on ice
-cammo saw blade
- people picking up rubbish
- cow & baloon
the list goes on, more clues please
I’m likewise stumped by the two fictional cities from various comic universes
Not aware of any fictional cities from comics. The two super hero ones I've got are both real cities
Also on the bench bottom left I’m sure I know as being
Sounds right. Works for me
Pig on ice is also a type of hat
pig on ice
cammo saw blade
I'm still missing the other 2
Another one! I'm still on 57/62 on last years "Say What You See" is there an answer sheet anywhere?
EDIT: cheated and googles last years and cant believe the handful I missed.
Now onto this years, more UK based cities then I thought there would be!
I've stalled at 71.

saw blade and pig now sorted, thanks
had a few sudden moments of clarity and have managed to scrape 57
Pig on ice is also a type of hat
Pork pie doesn't work.
Bigger, clearer version of the picture here
thanks for that, would never of seen the ghost without it
you’ve so nearly written it
still no clearer!
mr ed's grave is frustrating me too!
but finally got the busker!
still no clearer!
It's not a great clue imo. You've said too much

Just discovered that there are are a load of clues when looking on my phone that don't appear on the screen when looking on my laptop!
Yep. I found that. The Neptune/Poseidon figure doesn't show at all on my pc. It's really clear on the phone.
this is beginning to get increadibly frustrating, stuck on 67 and can only 11 other clues, all of which i'm stuck on:
- otter
- rubbish collectors
- cow & balloon (although already used the cow at end of another clue)
- horse grave
- toilet
- denim jacket (no matter how much i think its a city in France, it's not!)
- batman
- spring / parasol
- cowboy hat
- light bulb
- red horse
The toilet one's a good one, the red horse I got but by accident, stuck on 62 now so obviously missing some easy ones
The toilet one’s a good one, the red horse I got but by accident, stuck on 62 now so obviously missing some easy ones
swapsies for hints?
11 other clues, all of which i’m stuck on:
otter - not many cities with otter in them
rubbish collectors ???
cow & balloon (although already used the cow at end of another clue) - just bits of the words
horse grave ???
toilet ???
denim jacket (no matter how much i think its a city in France, it’s not!) ???
batman - you are remarkably close. You've probably never heard of it.
spring /
cowboy hat - where are they popular (on TV in the 80s)
light bulb - how is one different (in two ways)
red horse ???
There are two light bulb in the picture.
denim jacket (no matter how much i think its a city in France, it’s not!) ???
This is one of the ones I got by accident.
Even knowing the answer I'm not sure it makes any sense.
Nearly there (75), but I have questions:
1)
What even is that on the left? Some kind of food? Looks like tartiflette but I don't think it is? I can't really get started. Is that part of the spring one or are they separate?
2) The guy in the bathtub, front and centre. I'm just staring at him, wondering wtf he's doing or representing. Tell me there's a clue attached and he's not just trolling me!
3)
Are these dots a clue? They seem very subtle but at the same time, I can't work out how they would relate to the image behind which makes me think they're a clue?
4) There's an image of a cat in the top left. Reverse image search says it's just an Adobe stock image you can download as is. Anyone got that?
What even is that on the left? Some kind of food?
the spring is a separate clue though
The foodstuff on the left is much easier to see in the jpg linked earlier.
The spring is another, not well known, city.
I think theres more on the tub/man but I've not got it.
Thought the same about the dots but can't make anything work

@superficial - no idea on the red horse that you've got - give us a clue, i'm fully stuck on 73
– otter - GOT IT
– rubbish collectors
– cow & balloon (although already used the cow at end of another clue) - GOT IT
– horse grave
– toilet- GOT IT
– denim jacket (no matter how much i think its a city in France, it’s not!)
– batman
– spring / parasol
– cowboy hat - GOT IT
– light bulb - GOT IT
– red horse
So I know 5 of your missing 11 and I am only on 51 and struggling
no idea on the red horse that you’ve got
Bit of a wierd one this. It's a very specific red horse. Not sure how you'd get it with actually knowing it, and it's not especially well known imo. That probably doesn't help. Hope it doesn't give you a syndrome.
So I know 5 of your missing 11 and I am only on 51 and struggling
what are you stuck on? still not got the toilet no matter how much i think it should be in bedfordshire
This thread is just all spoilers tbh...
no idea on the red horse that you’ve got – give us a clue
I know this from playing train-themed board games with my son. As above, I don't know how to give you a clue without giving it away.
still not got the toilet no matter how much i think it should be in bedfordshire
A different, more crass slang word for toilet is required.
Bit of a wierd one this. It’s a very specific red horse.
finally got it, knew i'd seen one on my travels
Just got the litter picker (well part of it at least, there may be more!)
Not sure how to do the spoiler thing, will check back to earlier post.....

I've only got the toilet one
I’ve only got the toilet one

There are two related to the wine cork 🙂
There are two related to the wine cork
thanks, the most obvious one didn't even occur to me!
flat man in the window
it is a clue, but having got the answer by random luck, i can't see how in gods name it relates to the answer though
62 so far.
Things I think are clues but can't get (even then I'd only have 74):
busker
photo portrait in window (above Mr Ed)
Mr Ed
CockRocket
(? the !!! next to cat - I've got the cat but are they separate ?)
Red horse
flip flop
"hollywood-style" starburst on the doorway above manger
litter-pickers
melted/burnt part on bath
the bather and his foot
the yellow window
Oh yeah - and the second hat, next to the stetson
(edit: what a dick - too easy)
flat man in the window
it is a clue, but having got the answer by random luck, i can’t see how in gods name it relates to the answer though

flip flop
“hollywood-style” starburst on the doorway above manger - I think this is just part of the manger image.
litter-pickers
melted/burnt part on bath
the bather and his foot
the yellow window
62 so far.
Things I think are clues but can’t get (even then I’d only have 74):
busker - he's just trying to make some money using the skills he has
CockRocket - actually close. More what's about to happen
Red horse - you need to know where this exact horse is. I wrote a clue earlier
flip flop - clue earlier in thread
litter-pickers - clue earlier in thread
3 left.
Mr ed grave
Man in the window
One more???
got the denim jacket, don't overthink it. there's also a very loose geographical link to a nearby clue, well about 2 hours on a plane nearby
which means i only need 2 more - Mr Ed's grave and one of the many random possible other things that could possibly be clues??
I'm on 79 - thanks to quite a few hints here.
Just Dead Mr Ed - has no-one got that?
Edit - got the horse grave one big clue:
UK cathedral city
Locations of all the others in screenshot spoiler:

Ah yes. Actually an ok clue. One left
Edit – got the horse grave one big clue
groan offset by relief of finally getting it!
House!
well that was better than doing insurance for the afternoon!
