After a false start, here is the rela 2021 Ifour picture quiz

https://quiz.ifour.co.uk/

Harder than previous years I think.

I've got to 45 and have gone through the usual scenarios:

right answers but to a different clue
repeatedly typing wrong answers thinking the website is broken and not me
Answers correct i wasn't even aware was a city
Seeing some clues but no idea why they're clues
can't even see some clues
think some things are clues but probably aren't

Enjoy.
If you're going to help others in the comments below, please make sure the clues are cryptic. more obscure the better. Don't want ot make it too easy

Aside,

It's not obvious but the forum does support spoiler tags. Substitute 'fish' for 'spoiler' here:
[fish] secret text [/fish]

Spoiler
Just like this

Spoiler
you can even put them in CODE blocks, who knew?

At 40 and in similar position to op. If it helps anyone the answers do appear to include some fictional cities.

I did wonder that as there are a few film references but the selection I tried didn't work so I moved on. Is it definitely the case?

I got to 40 reasonably quickly but I've heavily slowed for the last 10 or so.

Scraped my way to 57 (on a long, dull conference call...). I can see 6 or 7 more clues. Where the rest are I have no idea.

I'm taking a break on 65. There's at least 7 or so things I'm missing that are obvious clues, but I can't get them. I've no idea where the last few could be beyond those.

I've not tried, but should that be Foo City rather than just Foo perhaps?

I've just got one that requires an insane knowledge of

Spoiler
post-impressionist artists
to get on sight. Or just some extremely good luck as in my case. There's no way I'm getting the last few if they're all like that!

Disappointed the anchor isn't Ankara.

Nearly there (75), but I have questions:

1)
What even is that on the left? Some kind of food? Looks like tartiflette but I don't think it is? I can't really get started. Is that part of the spring one or are they separate?

2) The guy in the bathtub, front and centre. I'm just staring at him, wondering wtf he's doing or representing. Tell me there's a clue attached and he's not just trolling me!

3)
Are these dots a clue? They seem very subtle but at the same time, I can't work out how they would relate to the image behind which makes me think they're a clue?

4) There's an image of a cat in the top left. Reverse image search says it's just an Adobe stock image you can download as is. Anyone got that?

The foodstuff on the left is much easier to see in the jpg linked earlier.

The spring is another, not well known, city.

I think theres more on the tub/man but I've not got it.

Thought the same about the dots but can't make anything work

no idea on the red horse that you’ve got

Bit of a wierd one this. It's a very specific red horse. Not sure how you'd get it with actually knowing it, and it's not especially well known imo. That probably doesn't help. Hope it doesn't give you a syndrome.

Thanks for the condiment tip.

I know this from playing train-themed board games with my son. As above, I don't know how to give you a clue without giving it away.

still not got the toilet no matter how much i think it should be in bedfordshire

A different, more crass slang word for toilet is required.
