Nice to see someone actually design a thing before building it.

Nice work but definitely needs some better filming, we're really taking it on trust that it's doing anything at all! For full YouTube points we also need to see it hitting something.

He also has a pretty cavalier attitude to personal safety, he could at least wear some goggles while he's cranking that thing!

He needs to reveal the secrets of that T-shirt that can keep you warm when it's snowing.

That was awesome. I'm worried that I feel I need one.

Liked it but I was also thinking it should be tracked - attach some form of GPS...assuming that is firing into the great wilderness shouldn't be an issue but anything going supersonic is going to be seriously painful if it hits anything.

Can keep a Canadian warm when it's snowing.

I skipped past all the G(r)eek letters. It may be quick, okay is quick, but a longer arm looks better.

So if the thing it we're about to unknowingly hit were tracking it on their smartphone they could take evasive action?

I personally think he mathsed the fun right out of that. Plus you need to launch something you can see, like a badger or a vicar

But would either of those go supersonic? I can't help but think the vicar's robes will act as some kind of air brake...

I'd have liked to see if the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow could be greater than Mach 1...

Wow, tough crowd today.

Personally speaking, seeing someone actually document the process was good. Would love to see it on a proper high speed camera.

It's an interesting experiment but for what I thought were obvious reasons it would be pretty hard to actually hit anything you were aiming for unless you were literally aiming right at it. Ballistics is difficult enough as it is for shaped projectiles never mind a ball bearing travelling at super sonic speeds.

Needs to get speaking to the SlowMo Guys

I liked it, I liked that fact that he tells you where to skip to right away if you dont want the full-bore maths version. Plus it made a cool noise
