My friends have this combo in their kitchen/dining area. They have a pine colour laminate floor.

I think it depends on the green though. My friends place looks bloody awful in my humble opinion but I think it has more to do with the green they went for. Its light but quite vibrant.

Can you link to your green? Also what colour are the units?

Edit. if you have an off white 'Apple green' a wedge or dark wood might look good.

I'd be at work where everything is green.

It's a hypothetical green, currently waiting to be plucked from the ether by Mrs S.

Light-ish, I have just been told.

Rusty.....

I photograph a lot of room-sets at work (kitchens mostly) so regularly work with stylists. If you can post a pic of your kitchen I can show it to the stylists at work and get some ideas if you like?

If tiled floor then mid/dark grey tiles looks good, we had a similar colour scheme in our old bathroom.

Natural slate or limestone flooring would suit.
Have a look on Houzz for inspiration

More of a septic yellow, I reckon matt?

And we had that carpet in the 70's, so that's out.

mrs Ed uses pinterest to get ideas, google images can also help to give you ideas on what other people have done

also, get a colour wheel (or find one on google images) and start doing some mock-ups in photoshop?

a pale slate colour? what colour worktop and/or cabinets?

We have this.

The floor is a laminate in bleached elm. Pale but interesting. Similar to this

We had a beach laminate floor in until the washing machine flooded it. Replaced it with a tile floor, the tiles are a mock brick pave type - almost looked like terracotta and pink sandstone mix.

The walls were a light mint colour, kitchen was cream.

We had green walls in our kitchen when we moved in. It got painted quite swiftly, it was bloody horrid IMHO.
