I stuck a couple of bottles of Wesrmalle Dubble in the freezer for a couple of minutes as they were a bit warm and had been shaken so were likely to be lively when opened. Stuff happened and fast forward an hour to when I remember they are there.
i take the bottle out of the freezer and it looks quite frosted but the beer is definitely liquid inside.
I pour it, a little too quickly, into a glass where it foams up. As it foams it also freezes into a pumice like material that seems to be able to expand exponentially.
My only option it to try and drink/eat this as quickly as it is forced from the glass while trying to walk over to the sink.
The result is I have drunk/eaten the entire content of the bottle in about three seconds to be left with a gradually melting glass of foam and a slightly light headed feeling.
It all feels very nice but a bit 'student'. Ages since we used to play iced shotguns with pressurised cans in the freezer.
Just thought I would share the reminiscing.
