I have 4 IBM Anyplace kiosks to Recycle, they are touchscreen pc's and I am just installing Ubuntu 11.10 onto the first one. Its working fine but I have a usb mouse and usb keyboard plugged in
does anyone know if there is a "on screen" keyboard that will work with ubuntu?
Onboard is an on screen keyboard for gnome, i have it on an xubuntu install and i think it came all ready installed, but it will be installable via apt
Hi fotorat, by "working fine" do you mean that the touchscreen is functioning in Ubuntu? If so, what did you do to get the Ubuntu installation to recognize the hardware, install the proper driver?
gave up on ubuntu in the end and installed windows xp as the only way to get the touchscreen working is by installed the IBM drivers which are windows only!
