Much easier to land with one wheel that all this nonsense, those bi-planes could fly incredibly slowly and could just about drop gently onto the landing field

Iolo that angle is clearly a shot from the observers seat either a fixed camera or a guy who ducks out of sight for the other angles I guess a fixed camera from the fixed angle of the shot. It is actually easier to do that stunt than fake it particularly with the technology of the time.
