Don't judge me, but I'm on the Ann Summers mailing list. Like many other online stores I bought something from them once about a decade ago and never got around to cancelling the mailouts.

Anyway, I got an email today promoting a new product, making some bold but potentially questionable claims. (Link probably NSFW but read it if you can or the rest of this post won't make any sense.)
http://www.annsummers.com/magnetize.html

So I've just contacted them:

Hi. I was looking at your new "Magnetize" range... and I have a couple of questions.

You say that the toys offer "21 ways to orgasm" and I was wondering, what ways are they? Do you have a list?

Also you say that they are "inspired by Homeopathy" and I was curious as to what form this inspiration would take. Would you be able to elaborate?

Bets on how we predict this is going to go?

I'm guessing "based on homeopathy" in the sense that a bit of groundless woo always gets the punters flooding in

To be honest I think, given his disgruntled tone, he already has.

Just send it back, Cougar. No need to make a scene 😀

Of course, "Mod" is a codename, you need to spell it backwards.

Now, I could understand some sort of drive system based on magnets, but homeopathy?
I'd love to know how they justify that claim.
Perhaps they can supply video of exhaustive testing taking place, enquiring minds would like to see it... 😀

What happens if your lady friend has the rabbit up front and the plug out back? Do they magnetically stick together? Will they ever come back out?

I'd love to know how they justify that claim.

Lets see. So the key "principles" of homeopathy are:
Like causes like. So choose a random chemical which can feels vaguely like an orgasm and make the toys out of it.
dilution makes it stronger. So when you buy the extra powerful version it will be delivered in a match box.
Although to increase the strength it does need "succussed" which could be a bit awkward if done when in use,.
Some say only one remedy at a time as well. Which might avoid that issue mentioned by Mister P

There's going to be some explaining to do for some after reading this thread. There wil be some interesting Facebook adverts and Amazon recommendations popping up on shared computers and tablets.

Yo, Rachel's random fact of the day!

My question to Cougar - haven't you found the 21 ways to orgasm yet?

Sensible hat on, my guess is that each of the different models has 3 or 4 dfferent 'modes', so that's how there's that many different ways to hit the spot.

'Inspired by homeopathy' = 'people will buy into any old shit if it sounds even vaguely plausible'.

I realise that the above will be the dullest post on this thread but hey ho, enjoy your toys Cougar.
