The dog shat itself.
This is the second one I've survived now, since that one in 2007.
Oh the horror.
Surely shat itself implies some soiling if clothing. Do you mean it shat?
I hate you. 😳
Should I add metaphorically?
Where are you? the 2007 one in Nottingham was 'fun'
Although I have heard East Midlands the earth has not moved for me in Derby.
Rutland!
An earthquake or a bit of a rumble?
I blamed the last UK one I felt on the dishwasher... I got some of the reverberations from the Wellington one up in Hamilton, that was way more than anything I'd ever felt in the UK.
Nahh the dog genuinely went mental before I picked her up and scarpered out the garage before something potentially fell on me. She's now sat on my lap shaking, it's quite amusing.
It wasn't as violent as the one in 2007 though - but hey - can't be to careful, I'll probably laugh at the next one and the house will fall down on me.

Ah, interesting. Our dog was going a bit daft, pacing and barking from about 9.30 and finally settled after 11.00. Can't say I felt the shake though, but it's been very gusty and hailstones here tonight. The 2007 one woke me up and I was convinced I was going to find a chimney and loads of slates in the garden, but nothing.

5.2 a couple of years ago. I blamed the kids initially. 😯
I was in Tokyo in April 2011, that was an earthquake!
Then the numerous ones for the following 4 days before the company demanded I came back to the UK.
The aftershocks were worse than anything I've felt in the UK.
Anywhere near cracking sites? 😉
What time was it etc?
My house, also in Rutland, wobbled noisily.

I was also in Tokyo that month, the work travel ban to Japan was only lifted before. I experienced several large aftershocks but the worse thing was that the a warning alarm would go off on the locals mobile phone before one. I had no phone to look at to tell me the estimated magnitude so I had to look at them to know whether to run outside / dive under the desk / keep calm and carry on.
