We don't know, but Henry doesn't seem bright enough to realise that all the red stuff leaking out of Rob probably isn't because he's sleeping.

He had it coming.

Hope he's not dead. It will be far better entertainment.

Lets be honest it sucks to be Helen 😆 there is not a lot of light in her life and it looks like it is going to get a good bit darker.

Nah, Rob's not dead, he'll keep going, like a middle-class Jason Voorhees...

(they'll have to consume him with fire, wrap him in chains, and chuck him in Arkwright lake just to slow him down for a few years)

It's a shame perhaps that they used Helen - who was always more than slightly annoying to start with... But obviously undeserving of this.

A big issue - and being handled well - and nice to hear a female policeman being the heavy-handed one for once.

I see they expect this story arc to continue for a year.

Helen is going to jail, who gets custody of Henry, has Rob adopted him? Storyline for years with Rob turning him against his mother and the ramifications down the line.

Dont think Rob went for full adoption in the end - he went for something quicker instead, for some unknown reason...

I'm desperately hoping Rob's gonna die, imagine if the bastard gets to bring up the children? Doesn't bear thinking about.

Also, undertones of Rob's father also being a controlling husband, v. forceful with his wife as they confronted Helen's folks....

Not much happening. Pat & Tony being morose, Rob hanging on, Henry having nightmares, Susan surprisingly discreet, Eddie thinks he's fixed the problem with the chimney in Lynda's summer house.

Going to be found not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of wounding with intent.

Goes to appeal and Rob the Evil Bastard has some kind of meltdown and the truth comes out.

So, two people have said that Rob raped them, while they were under oath. Surely he should have been arrested at least?

I suspect Bruce T's tirade in court may have sealed Rob's fate, however. He's going daaaaahn!

Fair enough Cougar 😆

We all know Rob is a bastard extraordinaire but can't see her getting off......yet.

My version is that she goes back to the slammer and lodges an appeal.

Meanwhile the wettest thing in Ambridge Shula tells about the sab and Rob does something else and it all ends happily around Christmas*

* could be very wrong as I havent listened to the trial as will catch up on Sunday

Just caught up with this.
It's bloody good isn't it?

Pigface, I KNEW the sab slapping would come back to haunt him - there's a lot more to come, I reckon.

I have a good feeling about the eventual outcome, although as this is Ambridge, I don't reckon Joe's got long.
It's his Farmer's Lung, he may have mentioned it.

Anna as a permanent character?
Hope so.

Some damn good actors on board at the mo, the cull of the tedious teenagers has turned out to be a wise move.
Always had my suspicions about Pip, btw, all that fresh air.
🙂

And who exactly is Toby paying off?

Not sure if we've had this yet?
Bit sweary.

Hope not

Let Shula have her chance to put the final nail in Rob's coffin, then(if they let him back in to court) have Bruce T do acomplete meltdown and have to be dragged out in full froth. 🙂

"How old is Henry supposed to be? He's sounded like he's three for the last five years."

Compared to friends' 5-year olds, 'Henry' does seem to be quite immature. I didn't know he was supposed to be 5, I thought he must have been 3!

Bruce appearing puts the pieces of the puzzle about Rob, into place. I think Rob's suppressed anger and rage will spill out, and he'll explode, and the two will have an almighty bust up, with Rob cursing his father for being such a bastard. Ursula ay also break down, and even possibly come round to sympathising with Helen.

But it's a soap opera, so good will come eventually. In real life, many, many women never have a happy outcome. 🙁

Last week I did Jury service.

The case was regarding rape and assault within a relationship.

Regardless of the verdict in the case there was never going to be a 'good' outcome for any of the people involved.

Nope not unless Helen makes a complaint to the police. Remember, he's the 'victim' in this trail.
