My girlfriend has an i.pod touch and was wanting to load some of the tunes i have copied from cd onto my computer. She has already loaded quite a few music tracks, movies, photo's and books from her own home computer. Problem is, when she tried to load the tracks from my computer, the i.pod kept on saying that as the files were from a new computer all of her existing files would be deleted before allowing the loading of new files.
Is this right?
She has moved in with me and no longer has access to the original computer to transfer or save the original tunes, photo's etc.
Anyone have any suggestions on how she can keep the original files and add new ones from my computer?
ta
loads of programs can collect files from ipods and put them on your computer.
yamipod worked for me.
Best bet is probably to download all the files off her touch, wipe her touch, add those files to your library and then associate her touch with your account, then synch. Make sure you have the files in your library (and they play) before you wipe her touch though. oooh errr.
