I've just uninstalled I Tunes from this laptop as for some unknown reason, all the music has vanished from the I Tunes folder, leaving just one track! (Alice in Chains, Nutshell) And the laptop wasn't recognising the I Pod. All my tracks are still on the Pod so should I just re-install I Tunes & will this get me back to where I was before? I am totally crap with this type of stuff so please be gentle!

Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
iTunes can be a pain in the rear, currently my iPod has everything on it, the laptop can't find the playlists or any music videos, the iPhone has the videos but not the date of purchase info for the music which I like to use sometimes.
All helps pass the time...
