How much data does the BBC radio app use? Seems a bit hungry having just played around with it for a few minutes.

Google and BBC says about 1mb per minute

Don't forget though, it won't use your data allowance at all if you're connected to a wifi network.
Assuming you can set to run on WiFi only? From what I recall you can't monitor data usage by app on the iPhone so just keep an eye on the total usage.
Mike I think there is an app that monitors your usage, well that is what I have just been shown.

If you are with O2 they definitely do an app called My O2 that will show your data usage in the current billing period.
