I have been waiting for the prices of i-phones to go down and i know that O2 are doing 100 minutes and 500 texts for £26. The phone is free.

Deal on no deal?

Depends on how many minutes you typically use a month

For a 3GS? Sweet Jesus, no deal! That's utter gash!

I pay O2 £35 a month for unlimited internet, unlimited texts, 1000 any-network minutes and a nice phone (read iPhone4 or Android)

The deals you get in the back of the redtops are better still.

500mb data.

I don`t use many minutes or texts to be honest so looking to keep the cost as low as possible.

You can get an iphone4 on Three for £35/month (2 year contract), £29 up front for the phone. Go via quidco and get £66 cashback.

3GS is showing it's age compared to more recent phones. Get something else.

May have been once but I believe they've now got a really good 3G network.

I'm on 3 with an iPhone 4. It's good. If you get the One Plan (the £35 a month one mentioned above) you also get free tethering, so you can turn on the hotspot function of your iPhone and connect a laptop / Kindle / other devices when roaming. I've found it very useful indeed.

I've got a 4, the wife still has a 3gs, it really does feel off the pace by comparison. She can't wait to upgrade to a 5 in September, when I probably will myself too.
