A few weeks ago I took my website down and a stopped my hosting package. The people that I used for this then went and charged me for another 6 months worth. I used the direct debit guarantee to get this cash back and told the company about this. They last week sent me an email saying that they were refunding me the amount they had taken - this has now appeared in my bank. Should I tell them about it? ~£50.

if you have already been refunded the money which you didn't owe them in the first place then morally you should tell them you have already got it back & repay them.

In my best 'Dad looking over his glasses' manner;

You shouldn't really have to ask, mmmm?

But would there be an administrative handling fee?

Ah, I see you are a "Premier Member".
