WorldClassAccident has raffled off some Trout lights at £5 a ticket and has done really well:

Now how on earth am I going to raise £750. I thought about riding Lands End to John o Groats on a turbo trainer on an Isle or Wight ferry as a team of 4 or 5 but I am struggling to find anyone to do it with.

SO anyone got any good ideas for raising money for an excellent cause?

Sorry Soma, I keep forgetting to e-mail you.

I'm doing LEJOG for real!! So won't be in for that.

I was thinking that we could go 'old school' and get sponsorship for one of the team to have a sponsored silence on here...

I might be up for Southampton to Cowes on a turbo trainer as long as it can be on the ferry when we do it. The people on the ferry won't care how far you are cycling as they are only laughing at you to pass the time. See it you can sort it for a busy sailing and we can do a trial run. You get any money raised.

I'm left wondering where this magical figure of £750 comes from.
Surely, pay the MM fees, anything on top is a bonus?
I wish I knew what was going on, but I don't think I'll be involved.
