i need a waterproof that is wearable for most occasions, meaning i would prefer something not too garish or mountain specific because i need to wear it to kids football/ rugby matches, walking the dog, commuting to work and the like.
I've seen the fjallraven high coast and finisterre borealis and think thats the kind of thing i'm looking for and ideally budget is under £200. Any suggestions please? Size medium if that helps.

Paramo Velez Smock in black or green, but its a bit above your price range. However as they are pretty much bombproof they are a sound second hand buy, bit warm for summer mind.
Both me and Mrs Spud have an earlier version of the Finisterre jacket, lightly insulated and great for dog walking or standing around watching sport with room under it for a bit more insulation if you need it. I'm usually a small in Finisterre t-shirts, jumpers etc. But take a medium in their jackets. I think one of the Borealis is half price at the moment too.
