Bit warm really for dicking about in the fields but after being a bad dad and sitting for 4 something hours at the local food festival least we could do was go for a play.

dogs are ace.

Obligatory pic of our Digby - the youngest our of two Bedlingtons - he still sleeps in the same position at 6 months as he did at 3 months;

He's the mad loon in the background here (last night's stroll and tennis ball chasing):

I love my dog too.....although less so on Saturday night when i had to sit up with her till the early hours.

As per the Uuni / pizza thread http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/theres-a-new-uuni-pizza-oven/page/3 we had family over for a pizza and BBQ session at the weekend, and while I was juggling cooking pizza, cooking BBQ, supervising the kids stretching and topping pizza bases, I neglected to watch the dog who managed to acquire and devour an uncooked pizza in a few microseconds. I wasn't worried, spaniels eat anything, but the wife googled it and apparently it can be dangerous if the yeast in the dough ferments in the stomach, leading to blockages, alcohol poisoning, all sorts.

She didn't seem bad so we avowed to watch and wait rather than go straight to an emergency vet, and as i say no apparent lasting issues other than being full of the extra energy a spaniel cross that's had a buckshee pizza doesn't need. And her shit was like the days of the gold rush (it seems there was a lot of sweetcorn topping on the nabbed pizza)

I was knackered all yesterday, she thinks it was the best day ever.

Even though things like this occur more than they should!
