Your taste buds are broken. Pot Noodles eh? They revised the only vaguely palatable one (chickem and mushroom) years back and ruined it. The BBB tastes like salty gaseous chemicals laced with faux chilli. Almost a feat in itself. As is eating/drinking one. Respect!

I think they're delicious, only eat them at festivals though. Beef and tomato for me.

I once ate pretty much nothing but chicken and mushroom pot noodle for a month at uni.

The resulting trip to an icu for a couple of days and a week on a ward recovering from severe malnutrition mean I haven't eaten them for 10 years

You want to get to an oriental supermarket and pick up some of the 4 for a pound ramen things. Ideally they should have no engish on the label and no identifiable pictures of ingredients. Once you've found such a delicacy you're ready to play Guess the Flavour.

Am I right in thinking pot noodles are nutrition neutral?

I once coughed while eating a pot noodle. The force shot an 8 inch noodle out of a nostril which gently rested on my top lip.

Beef and tomato pot noodle, suitable for vegetarians. Says it all really.

Taste lovely though. Especially as sandwiches with cheap white bread.

Pot Noodle, The ULTIMATE Hangover cure!

Enough salt in each one to grit a whole street.

Had until recently only discovered the delights of the Beef and Tomato, which aren't bad. The BBB is something else though! Jerk Chicken was errr... Well I won't be buying another.

They were 50p each in ASDA the other week, so I bought a load of them. Will probably take many months to consume them all (I need to REALLY crave one to be able to deal with that much salt, so usually when hungover), but a bargain is a bargain! 😀

These are my weakness. I love the noodle soups. You can get them in Supermarkets too, in he world food aisles but they stick english instruction lables on them which takes away the fun.

I only eat the chilli beef one, tastes much better than the bbb but still has the hot chilli kick, I think I might put the kettle on

Well, that depends on your stance on salt intake, MSG, hydrolysed fats...

No, no, no! If you believe that a pot noodle is a "hangover" cure, then lady, you aint been hungover!

For if you had ever been really hungover, you'd of known that a full English is the ultimate hangover cure!

Indeed.

Haven't eaten a Pot Noodle for about 10 years. It was whatever flavour was in a black pot at the time. I can probably still taste it if I concentrate hard enough.

Ok, it's an English-lite, google images quicky. But yes, I'd prefer more hog and eggs.

Yes, yes, OK. Consider me told off.

Viz comic called them Not Foodles, I tend to agree although I find the Curry flavoured ones alright.

I have the (Mock Noodle, we call them) at work about twice a week, from Lidl, they taste pretty much identical to a regular pot noodle and only about 45p, in fact i've had one today!

Chicken curry pot rice is also a favourite. Worth carrying in the car in case I'm called out late at night. The guys on the tools are guaranteed to have access to boiling water on site.

I had a Kabuto noodles today. Bought for the puffer but didn't eat it. slightly less generic flavour than a PN and left me wanting more, dammit.

The normal chicken and mushroom ones are dire now. King pots are the daddy.

And never ever fill to the line. Squeeze the pot, push the middle block down and then fill to 3mm over the top of the block.

Might have to get a Bombay Bad Boy, not had one in a long time.

Thinking about it, I was at a festival and drunk, do I risk ruining the memory of that delightful meal?

I love a beef and tomato pot noodle- but I feel rough as a badgers arse for hours later, same with anything from Greggs.
