And if so how you finding it?
My current machine is from 2011 and I have two monitors I want to drive, so that would be my justification.
Part of me wants to abstain in protest at the ugly fingerprint sensor execution, part of me wants to have Space Grey.
Just curious how people are finding the Touch Bar thing really.
(Even though mine will be closed most of the time.)
The touch bar itself, don't really think about it much. Is quite pleasing to use for stuff like volume and brightness control. It's not life changing, it's not awkward to use, it just does what it does. And I've not found the lack of function keys a pain either.
Have a look on MacRumors - there have been a few technical issues.
Hmmm, that keyboard thing sounds annoying and knowing my luck I will doubtless get a bad one.
I've waited 6 years, I might as well wait a few months more for the updates then.
I went for a cheapo non-touchbar version of the new pro. It's lovely (in space grey) and I don't particularly feel I'm missing out.
The only annoying thing is mine only has two USB-C ports and I've an ugly mess of (expensive) adapters to make it play nicely with my screen, ethernet etc.

I rarely use more than one port! At my desk I've an USB-C cable from the LG 5k monitor to the MBP. A USB to USB-C adapter to connect a USB3 hub to the monitor. Then whatever else I need plugs into the USB hub. I do pack adapters for monitor/projector, USB and ethernet when out and about, though rarely use them.
I've got a late 2015 maxed out model in mint condition for sale if anyone's interested?
How many £ binno?

I thought that was going to say toucan?
Disappointing.
Haha, my next door neighbour's parrot used to ride around on their golden retriever's back, if that's any use to you?
