You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Unused Ikea curtain rail, a brass door push and some washers - probably less than £20 all in. Needs legs or some firm mounting method but that will follow shortly I am sure
Okay so a slider ought to be on some legs really. Why are you using it as a moving piece of grip when it should be rigid?
Yes a simple concept but difficult to execute well.
We bought a shark slider which is carbon and and a very nice mechanism but it still has some play in it. I can't imagine what your is like with some weight on it.
What do you do for a day job?
Yours is cheaper though.
Great always love seeing you hack jobs WCA a bored mind needing a task to do coming up with ideas.
Rails need to be very rigid though to take the weight.

Why are you using it as a moving piece of grip when it should be rigid?
Because I have no idea what I am doing. I will be fitting stands so it is rigid as I (think) I said in the video.
Antishake - I wanted to share it raw. That is all shown with out any post edit effects. As I said, I wanted you to review the slider, not my editing software.
Happy with it so far. More feedback welcome
Forgot to mention rigidity - the 3 runner curtain rail seems very rigid. No felx when I used it as a crutch by mistake.
