They appear to be a brilliant company.
The staff are perfectly happy to drive at 90 mph along small country lanes so that you can get your delivery on time, and in order to reduce fuel costs (thus make your delivery cheaper) they know that slip streaming 4ft from the car in front is the most fuel efficient way to drive.
Plus, the method of driving and performing other business on the phone makes them doubly efficient....

DrP

(ok, so maybe not applicable to all delivery drivers, but I was suitably 'impressed' by all this today....)

My wife's Christmas present was delivered by those monkeys. Got here on time but the box is in a heck of a state. I can't wait to see what shocked condition the contents are in when she opens it next week.

Isn't that how (almost) all delivery drivers drive? Worst ones near me are the dpd ones.

Best thing to do is report it to the company and make sure a copy goes to all named directors you can find! A mention of putting the facts of what happened on a huge forum such as MSE can also prompt a courteous response and swift dispatch of the dispatch driver!

Yeah, crazy busy drivers, anyone would think they had a lot to do. Maybe more people should use shops and drive themselves eh!

Saw three vans delivering to the same house at the same time. The woman signing for the parcels was facing a bit. The third delivery driver wrote a missed delivery note and passed it to her over the shoulder of the other guy and drove off.

Made me giggle.

I giggled more, and found out the details, when he had to deliver something to our house about 5 minutes later and she walked over to him and started shouting.

One ignorant delivery driver can end a life, so get them off the roads. It's not acceptable.

I used to be a delivery driver, and we had 3 transits, mine went in for a service, along with the fast drivers one,me like captain slow, i got mine up to 85mph on the local empty bypass, fast driver was so annoyed because his wouldnt go past 70ish, and couldnt keep up.

After that i never drove faster than 60mph.

Absolutely no point in speeding , and the risk of something happening was scary.
