It's massive!
They are amazing but I get emotional when I scratch my £200 rock crawler, I can't imagine what it's like to spend a year and all that money on a plane and then crash it... Obviously part of the hobby but damn.
a testament to modern composites ,adhesives and battery tech.
Enjoyed that a lot.
I don't know how much time would have gone into building that, but at least it got the comedic timing of the explosion just right.
We watched a meet at Loch Insch many years ago, there were huge RC sea planes galore. Amazing stuff.
That is my MTB retirement activity. It would be sooner, but I have no time!
Everyone else just ffwd it to take off, yeah? 😆
There are some truly magnificent RC planes out there. Take this 25' wingspan Vulcan with 4c jet turbines in it for eg
Some of the fighter jets have incredibly detailed cockpits too which led displays, pilots who move in conjuction with the controls etc
There are some amazing models out there - and huge! It can tend to be fatal if it all goes wrong but that's the game I guess.
I remember seeing a nice video of an SR-71 somewhere. Beautiful bit of kit 🙂
The inner cockpit details are awesome 🙂

Coz usually they end up nose first into the ground and needs replacing
That Vulcan is amazing - but it does need some kind of loudspeaker set up to make the famous ‘howl’ 😀

that is indeed quite superb timing
time into building? erm, not enough, I'd say...
The inner cockpit details are awesome
I like the led afterburners.
