There are accusations that El Chicarito was bombarded with missiles after his goal and that possibly a steward was hit by one of the said missiles. Live footage showed someone getting treatment on the touchline.

I'm getting the sneaky suspicion, tracknicko doesn't like football...

...or capitalisation.

Stephen Spielberg in the beige jacket looks pretty unmoved by it all too.

i quite like football. i don't like football crowds, and i don't relish the idea of going to a stadium to be with 'fans'

capitilisation is automised these days on almost everything i use. ergo it's best left to the auto experts.

Moronic Manchester UTD players incite moronic Chelsea fans, steward gets hurt.
He was taken to hospital with an injured ankle according to the reports I saw.

look at the attitude on ALL of their faces

3 front rows seem angry or dismayed the rest seem largely unbothered
Whats your point

one guy. out of an entire crowd.

good spot.

Stamford Bridge was rather quiet that day- the entie picture is [ are you ready for this] just a snap shot of one section of the crowd of thousands

so 14 worth picking out in that small section alone.

Dear Jim.

Could you fix it for me for CFH to put 'football fans' into Google image search, ignore all the pics of people with happy faces, and post that pic of the kid flipping the bird.

Thanks.

Jamie, 32

You're too old for him, Jamie 😉

I wanted to find that awesome pic of a happy looking kid with a beer in his hand, but couldn't! 🙂

Look at em though - most of them are old geezers who have trouble walking up a flight of stairs. Get them in a crowd and they're the hardest fekkers in town.

EDIT: I tell I lie, the guy above him, blue top white cap is me, watching the other riders...

guy in the middle row, far right of the picture in a blue sweater has top quality mutton chops. And sneaking in to the top row, over spielberg's left shoulder - is that Billy Connolly?

In all seriousness, the guy bottom left in the pale blue jumper has a very fist like fist. And there is what looks like a torn up chair flying through the air very close to where mutton chops is.

I used to consider myself an average football fan, and I'll admit there have been times when i've made an angry face and shouted a rude word even. But attacking stewards / goalkeepers, tearing up seats to throw at players - what is it coming to?

Heard about the Chelsea thing on the radio, some neanderthal knuckle dragger was trying to justify the coin throwing by saying that Hernadez was inciting the crowd by celebrating in front of them. I'd question their suitability to take place in decent society if they are moved to throwing things at another person merely by the fact that they had gained an advantage in a sporting competition. God help them if someone were to look at them "a bit funny" on the street. Moronic thugs.

Anyone who slags football off because of cheating sportsmen or crowd misbehaviour, as if those things are a modern phenomenon and are exclusive football need to have a read up about the 1904 TDF.

Guy in red shirt and white shorts (centre... another bloke on his back). Looks like he's trying to catch something. In the style of a 3 year old 🙂

I thought what was supposed to have happened here was as Hernandez ran over, the crowd shoved forwards, and thats what knocked the steward over the railings, I dont think punches were thrown

Has the bloke 2 rows above the steward (and slightly to the left) got a hook for a hand?

Agree throwing stuff at someone because they are beating you in a sporting match is daft but why would a sportsman celebrate like that in front of the opposition fans when elsewhere in the ground there are a bunch of their own fans waiting to "adore" them? Don't seem very sensible.
