After 22 long years in the motor trade, working for some of the worst managers in Christendom and Two particularly good 'uns, I am finally out today!
Monday I start work for Moore Large and I could not be more excited.
Woohoo!
Thumbs Up! Well done!
I thought it was going to be out of jail or ‘coming out’ as being gay or gender neutral etc
Mate of mine worked in the motor trade for prob 15 yrs, he got to drive some very nice cars, but you could tell it was slowly destroying him.
He still does sales but a completely different sector and appears much more happy
Will we be hearing from you in a professional capacity? Hope the career change works out!
I'm also most disappointed by the lack of declarations of your love for Cyril who you've always previously only admired from afar and your new found love for Abba
Well done though, and good look with your new chapter 🙂
Management in the motor trade is proof that cream isn’t the only thing that floats to the top. Good luck in the new career!

A trip to any sewage plant would also confirm this.

Congrats! Which department? Say hello to Mr Ashbee for me (SE Regional Sales)
Congratulations….will you be in a position to sort a STW member discount? 😀
Well done. Didnt know what Moore Large was - But that sounds ideal. Really immersive.
I know plenty of people who shifted between those two industries... none have regretted it (none have become rich either, but you know that already).
Moore Large
Shouldn't that be Larger?
And congrats on the job change, although like @binners I'm a bit disappointed that the thread hasn't lived up to its billing.
Shouldn’t that be Larger?
Well I chuckled
Congrats. First thing Monday, Onza payoff MkII, same as before but longer (15.9" reach in a medium? What?), and with rackmounts, please. I'd have had one but for their two things. Well, and the 70° head angle.
