Has it been done yet?

I wouldn't normally post ghoulish stuff, but seeing as no one was hurt, this one is worth watching:

What a monumentally stupid place to sit!

And that girl just continues to sit there and watch!

How was that not a different outcome for those spectators?

Wow. No-one was hurt, but I bet some pants were soiled!

Again: stupid place to sit!

Good advert for roll cages! The distance might have foreshortened the distance between the people and the car, but it might not have. Amazing no-one was injured.

Listening to the engine noise - it sounds like either the throttle stuck or he kept it planted - can't see an experienced driver doing the latter which would explain the accident.

And that girl just continues to sit there and watch!

I think that she couldn't actually see past the folks sat next to her - she just knew 'something' was happening...

Good to see those lads making sure their girlfriends were safe before diving for cover

Sweaty palms watching that. looks like they were quite a way up from the corner...just not far enough. As kids we learned to stand on the inside just to avoid all the gravel being shotgunned in Whinlatter and Kielder.

For those that don't speak Italian.

He was saying at the end, "Bit of gaffer tape mate and you'll be good to finish the stage".

Proper life flashing before your eyes stuff.

Well now - someone was smiling on those guys!

As for the car, it seems wrong not to say "That'll buff out".

And that girl just continues to sit there and watch!

In her shoes I'm not sure I would have known which way to go that would get my out of mischief in the short time I had to react.

Crickey! Not a lot of room for error in rallying.

yep, there was a lot more space there than it looked like when the car first lost control!

I love the way the guy on the phone just hops over the dirtbike and then continues talking. Unless he's asking for new pants.

To be fair, I'd either sit there in confusion or terror, or alternatively leap to my feet and run directly in front of the car.

I imagine instinct takes hold at that point at that speed. Guilt probably followed later.

The motorbike one reminds me of this video, he just looked like it was nothing and carried on snapping 😆

Never ever ever ever ever sit down when watching at a rally, it takes that extra second or two you might not have to throw yourself out of the way. Cars can go off anywhere, I've seen cars go off on straight bits of road.

Mothercooker - that's incredible. Couple of foot either way and that would have been so different...

I always remember watching this thinking that...

...about 5 mins in, but the whole thing is a fun watch.

...and of course, Colin McRae's X-Games rollover.

Peta Solberg's Hinkelstein crash was pretty damn scary. Proper "when will this end?" moment.

I always found this one interesting. When the driver and co-driver are telling their wives they love them, they're obviously pretty sure they're done.

Another cracker from Solberg:

His face is brilliant as he goes through the grape vines

edit: Too late, got carried away watching other videos.

his Hinkelstein crash:

I was going to post that one before you but I was trying to find the one with the in car footage first. I think it works better if you see the comedy in car and then see the climax at the end!

The bit where he crosses the road and heads through the next with some kind of "what am I doing but I have to keep going" expression on his face is like the scene out a film like Taxi or Transporter.
