Hi,
getting really annoyed with the mp3 player on the wildfire. If I rip cds to my pc using windows media, and then transfer to the phone, the phone doesn't recognise the artist. If I rip cds to the pc using itunes, and then copy the folders from "my music", all the details appear on the mp3 player, but no art work. itunes won't sync directly to my phone, well, unless I'm doing something wrong.
can anyone point to where I'm going wrong, or recommend a player to rip cds to the pc so I can send them to the phone.

Try using another App like the winamp app or my personal favourite, Double Twist. Not sure how it works on a PC as I use a Mac but Double Twist is a middle-man app for iTunes and the phone. Using their AirSync you can also transfer tracks over wireless. Works brilliantly on my Desire HD.
