I'm looking at getting used car I've seen loads of adverts for hpi checks
With massively varying prices
What's the most reliable/up to date one to use
Do you get a better check the more you pay
Thanks
They all use the same information databases to do the checks. I just use car text check as long as the car is worth less than £5k (the limit of their cover if it goes wrong/info proves to be incorrect). It's also good as it's very quick, so you can check the car out decide you want it then hpi before you close the deal rather than in advance. just text the reg number to 83600.
If you're spending over £5k then i'd look for a service with higher cover though to be extra safe.
Just make sure u get a VIN number check as well as usual reg number check
Thanks
Looking at paying around 6k to 7k so does the 83600 service not go to vehicles of this price ?
would never of thought about a vin check
Keep it coming guys
thanks
