Why not complete this survey in a way that Howard doesn't want, as you can see from his ridiculously leading questions
Balanced it ain't, but it is funny.
YOUR VIEWS ON THE POLITICAL ISSUES AFFECTING UK DRIVERS | SurveyPlanet
That's put a smile on my face, thanks for sharing. 🙂
Done! 😃
Done. That wasn't at all biased. I liked the open comments section on one of the questions inviting me to let rip.
I let rip, or at least my alter ego Colin from Cambridgeshire did
I love driving and "nice" cars, but we need to replace cars with public transport and active travel.
He ain't going to be happy with my answers.
I "let rip" about how cars are not always an appropriate form of transport and that better, dedicated infrastructure for other modes of travel would help everyone.
Hopefully I've convinced Howard that cycling is the future and that cars ruin cities.
EDIT: Oh, wait, he gets paid by the oil industry to put out pro-pollution propaganda?
Brian Cock from Bradford has just "let rip". 🙂
In dozens of Cities and Towns across the UK, more and more punitive road schemes are being put in place to raise tax revenue for local authorities under the guise of improving air quality.
Trucks, Vans, Buses, Motorbikes, Taxis, Cars are all being asked to pay more to drive in urban areas with many more cities set to introduce similar ways to raise cash from drivers.
Please tell us which of these existing schemes and other potential new proposals you support or do not support.
I love his balanced approach to writing surverys.
Luckily I have several email addresses.
Gary Gahmoan has had his say about the horribly oppressed snowflakey drivers.
Excellent, he got really upset by the reasonable, balanced and sensible answers a few years ago. I'm happy to respond in my own name to this BS.
Done.
Anyone got a Road CC login? Might be worth posting this over there?
Done it, and as I stand by my comments and views I did it in my own name.
The risk is that if there are too many silly names he will declare the survey 'corrupted' bury the results and start another - which is suppose is still fun!
I just realised that the email does not require verification, so you can make up any old guff address to post multiple replies.
I did one in my name and another as Isaac Hunt. Postcode D1 1CK.
How the chuff has he got Obama following him on Twitter?!
How the chuff has he got Obama following him on Twitter?!
Barack Obama follows me on Twitter, and I've never even posted a tweet. His bar must be very low.
Done and used my own name as I really hope he gets back and challenges my answers. 🙂
If have time later I may use a couple of my nom de plumes to shift the results slightly.....
Done 😀
My response to the last question
"The policies seem feeble and ineffectual. If they want to stop people driving like dickheads then we need sniper squads on bikes"
I closed one let rip with the question "who are Reform UK? never heard of them"
My response wont achieve anything but it allowed me to let of steam and engage in the culture war for a few minutes. Nice.
I think the trick to mess with these things is to fill it in as a car driver ...... who want's to get all car's off the road.
Because it's easy to ignore and filter out a load of "cyclists", but if half his respondants were "Mrs Morris from number 42 who thinks her LTN is great as she can now walk to the shops safely with her grandkids and wishes they'd do something about the congestion in town", that's harder to ignore.
You are right, subverting these surveys needs a subtle approach really, but sometimes its nice to just say what you think, in a reasonable non sweary way
That was fun. Will he agree that all political parties support drivers because most people are drivers and without them nobody will get votes?
TINAS exactly what I did, supported emissions zones and LTNs.
Reading between the lines this motoring lobby group's big objection to smart motorways is the fact that the limits are enforced by speed cameras, not the safety aspects.
Agree.
FWIW my daily commute is on a smart motorway and it works. Quite happy to be limited to 40, 50, whatever as long as it flows.
I'd also have the cameras set at 71 and switched on all the time.
Howard has been nominated as London Mayoral contestant for Reform. He wants to get rid of all the 20 mph zones and the LTN unsurprisingly.
What a WGBE he is. Absolute walloper - there'd be a delicious irony if he was to meet his maker via motorised means.
I'm happy for him to split the RW vote

According to Companies House, he doesn't meet the residential criteria - he lives in Kent.
I suspect this is another one of his grifts before he finally stands aside in order to concentrate on his business or some such rubbish.
He's got a number of sockpuppet Twitter accounts where he replies to himself, nominates himself for knighthoods etc. Sometimes he forgets to log out of one and back into another, it's quite amusing.

One shouldn't mock those with a mental illness 🙂
Done!
Just clicked on the link, I noticed this bit:
