Ongoing health issues have led to me having a biopsy done on the instep of my left foot. They have put 2 stitches in and stuck a plaster over it and told me not to get it wet at all for 2 days then not to put it into water in a bath or pool for 2 weeks. Trouble is, I'm recovering from that ankle / foot being out-of action for a few weeks and walking up and down in the spa pool at the gym is probably the best exercise I have to help that recovery.
How can I waterproof my foot so I can go in the pool? Are those rubber verruca socks going to do the job, or is there something else I can make or buy to do the job?
Like Tom, I came to recommend a Limbo

Walk on your hands? 😜
Get a pack of sandwich bags, stick your foot in one and tape it around your ankle with some duct tape. Or medical tape, whichever is handy.
Is there a reason why you can't use the exercise bike at the gym instead ?
Assume that would be equally good for recovery.
How to waterproof a foot?
In the scheme of things would it not be better to skip the pool as suggested for a few weeks and just ride on the turbo for fitness and do some stretching/yoga/Pilates to get the movement aspect?
I remember braking my arm and having it plated (3 blimin times in 2 years), it's infuriating and difficult not to fixate on wanting to do everything on the list they've banned you from, but that's probably at least the cause of the 3rd break 😂
