I'm camping in little tent this weekend.  It has no interior hooks or loops for a lamp.

Is there any clever velcro solution out there?

Can't you just quickly stitch one in? It can't be more than a 10-minute job from start to finish.

Strong magnets either side of the fly/outer with a loop of fabric between?

There are magnet hooks on Amazon, come with little carabiners. Just need one the other side.

Is it single skin?

In the UK? It's almost Summer Solstice, I'd be surprised if a light is required 😂

Head torch? Torch in yer mouth? Torch inside a plastic milk bottle makes a good lamp, use a shoe to hold it upright.

I'd go for a head torch. Small, lightweight and can take it with you should you need to perform late night ablutions..

I'll be doing that anyway.  Just want a light above me in the tent

Magnet or a clip (e.g. clothes peg or croc clip)

Even a work light that has a magnetic base with something metal the other side of the material would work fairly well

Adopt the festival approach and use a fabric conditioner bottle.

Check the stationary cupboard at work, there's bound to be surplus bulldog clips, there's always surplus bulldog clips...
