My hotmail email account has just today decided to convert to Outlook, and I can't stand it. Can anyone suggest how I can switch it back to the classic hotmail at all?

Get rid of Hotmail entirely, it's old and stupid and Web based. Get a Gmail account!

I hate it too, but I've been using Hotmail for 20 years now and it's my default that people know to contact me on.

I've just changed the layout/view settings and it's now pretty close to the way it used to be and bearable.
I've had the same email address for 18 years - not going to change it now!
