I have pre-conceptions about certain forum members' (s****) heights, and no doubt many of us do.
Despite my online "inadequate small angry man" persona I am a manly 185cm/6' 0.5" (YES 0.5"!)
You?
Despite my small monkey moniker I'm just over 6'2".
If I was a midget I'd call myself something like...err..tootall or something 😀
183cm
98kg
guess
Just as I thought Al you're a short fella.
193cm / 6'4". Not so tall that I have to ride really gangly looking bikes these days, but still too big to fit comfortably in a Lotus for prolonged periods.

Curses!
189cm

I say 6'4" but some think i'm closer to 6'6" one day i'll get measured properly.
Tall enough for people to say "gosh aren't you tall" all the time, standard response is "no i've got my heels on".
You'd be amased how many look to check.
Have managed to get close to 15st which is the lightest since my 20's!
29 - Rigid
650 - Short travel hardtail
26 - Full Suss
165cm / 5'6" 55kg
Why do some people consider growing an achievement?

177.8 cm (5'10")
6'4"
107kgs last time i checked, i appear to have slimmed down a fair bit since then though.
6'6", 92kg, sadly tall enough that I do have to ride really gangly bikes.
5ft 3 and three quarters but in my mind I am 6 foot 6 and weigh 245.
Kind of broad at the shoulders, narrow at the hip.
And everybody knew you didn't give no lip to Piggy

less pies for me!
6FT 4 99KG
6"2 but have tiny legs!
5ft 2, nearly 5ft 3, a bit Hobbity.
183cm 79kg
The same as Paul Newman and a bit more than Rambo but considerably more than Anthrax.
Why do some people consider growing an achievement?
Cos not everybody has managed to do it. It make it look easy though - I did pretty much all my growing as a child and teenager, some might have called me a child prodigy, others might have called me a lanky child prodigy.
6'6" - Adult sized.
6"2 but have tiny legs!
A friend of mine was given grown hormone as a kid as there was a worry he wasn't growing properly - he ended up 6"5" but its all body - looks like his trousers are falling down - looks like a cat walking on its hind legs . When I crouch to tie my shoe laces my knee meets my shoulder - if he does it his knee is at the bottom of his ribs.
6'3", 13.5 stone, which is a bit heavy at the mo.
Without sounding sleezy or a come-on, I think girls your sort of height look 'right'.5ft 2, nearly 5ft 3, a bit Hobbity.
When girls go over 6ft their feet are the same size as blokes.
Jeez Loco I'm actually 100kg's/1 inch shorter and you think YOU are heavy. Oops, weigh****chers!
6"1' 168lbs
6'5"

Thinking race weight ish 😉
When girls go over 6ft their feet are the same size as blokes.
Mt sister is 6'1" and has normal size feet, webbed but normal size 😆
Remember the film Deuce Bigalow, male Gigalo? Shout 'freak!' at her 😆
6'2"
Either STW contains an unusually tall cross section of the general population, or their is some exaggeration going on here.
When girls go over 6ft their feet are the same size as blokes.
I remember dating a girl who was 6'1", finest adams apple of any girl I ever dated.
5'5"". Got a picture somewhere of me standing next to my 6'5" mates 29er, his saddle is at my chest height!
5'7"

Without sounding sleezy or a come-on, I think girls your sort of height look 'right'.
Mission failed, Hora 😀

I remember following a small chap leading a rideout. He shouted back to watch the hole in the fence, as it was low. He'd ridden through it while I struggled to push my bike through as the saddle was touching the top.
Lots of tall people posting, you freaking weirdos. Get some help! You're not normal so don't pretend you are.
5'11" here, just under 13 stone. You see, *that's* normal. I blame my father who was quite short.
Gosh, average height of STW users is really pretty high, must be more than national average? Or are we getting a unfair sample as big folk are more likely to say "phwooaaaar, check out the size!" etc etc?
195cm here. (which is 6' 4", innit? )
Phwooaaar! 😉
6'2"/188cm and 90kg... could do with losing some 'middle age spread'!
A shrinking 5ft 6"
Another one here to bump up the average. 6'7"
I like being tall, but would rather be around 6'4" given the choice. The world is still designed for the average man.
At least it's easier to find big bikes these days, it used to be a nightmare.
Lot of chubbers on here
Lot of chubbers on here
34inch waist considering I'm 100kg's. I've no idea where the weight is.
Cankles?
Currently 157cm but still harbouring hopes of a late-onset growth spurt
5' 4" - before the discs in my back started collapsing so I guess a bit shorter now. 62kg so a little bit too chubby
About 6" and 77kg.
5'11 and a bit 77.473 kg
193cm and 102kg.
I was 5ft 11 odd but following some chiro and rehab for my back, I'm now 6ft again! 88.6kg
Bout' 5.6" ish, i used to 5ft 9" but i've broke my spine in various places a couple of times so it's a fair bit shorter than what it should be.
Excuses.....excuses eh?......I'm a short arse....deal wi it!. 😉
Well I'm never going to win being the tallest on here but I'm doing pretty well in the lightest. 🙂
The world is still designed for the average man.
Yes all the benches are custom height in the workshop to save my back.
Somewhere around to 5'10 - 5'11 mark. Can't say I've ever been accurately measured though!
6'3" with an 11 incher, 13 stone of pure muscle, fists like stone and the ability to kill a man with just one punch.
A towering 5' and weighing in at a mighty 47kg 🙂
Does that make me the shortest and lightest STWer?
(It does make me pretty quick at riding up hills ... there's just less of me to get up there!)
with an 11 incher
Pah. I'm not chopping mine in half for anyone 😉
6'2" & 84kg.
I expect Tom Cruise to be cast as me in the (very dull) film of life story.
with an 11 incher
Ruler?
mahooosive
6ft 4''
18stone
Nope, he's holding on to someone else's 11 incher. 😆
It's interesting to see the mix of imperial and metric measurements people are using.
To me anyway, but then I'm REALLY dull.
5ft 6''.
Spherical.
But only on the outside.
5'9" (175cm)
12st (76kg)

Got to say i'm surprised how tall people on here are.
6'1.25"
Just measured. Which is an inch more than I'd always assumed.
Which means my BMI's just dropped from 23.3 to 22.5!
Extra cake time!

6'3", 13.5 stone, which is a bit heavy at the mo.
Then i'm heavy as ****
6', 14.5 stone when I weighed myself a few weeks since. Bordering obese apparently 😯
6ft exactly
83kg last time I dared weigh myself.
5'10"
12st 6lbs
Apart from Dean I cannot remember being surrounded by giants on the Pootles -does this mean gravity is stronger up here so we are all shorter.
Pook - 6ft 1" - now what do I win?
6'5" 16 stone. Gradually getting back to 'before we had kids' weight.
FWIW, I have a very warped view of what normal heights are having done rowing as a sport for a long time - 6'5" seems pretty normal still. I was certainly never the tall one. That or about 5'2" for the coxes...
We had a young lady in the shop once who was probably about 6 ft.
I was looking at her and something was not the norm. Then I realised I could ser daylight between her legs when she came to the counter.
For me, the counter is belt height. I estimate her inside leg must have been 39" and she wasn't wearing high heels.
Ps im not a perve,honest .
As I said above, I'm 6'5". At some parties where a few of the GB rowing squad women were in attendance, they were looking down on me when they were in heels... odd experience 🙂
5'9" I blame my parents, they smoked like chimneys throughout my childhood.....
6' 1"
Hmmm, that seems to be below the STW average.
Anyone know of an alternative forum populated by short people waiting to bow down to their new tall (ish) master?
6ft2
Which is about normal imho.
