You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
spent the day in the shed putting some bikes to bed for the winter, then as i moved the last one out, I found a few bottles of beer from last year (I think) they went out of date in september, and they taste a bit funny, but are still drinkable. Is there anything going to go wrong?
Yes, you will certainly die.
RIP Charlie 🙁
i hear you may get drunk 😯
that's only a couple of months .Apart from getting pissed you should be ok
My first experience of Guinness was a couple of bottles that turned out to be a year out of date. Spent the next two days on the porcelain throne.
Beer can go out of date??
I've had stuff that had to be stored for 10 years before it was considered at its best! Don't they use alcohol for preserving stuff?
Beer isn't predominantly alcohol though is it, as opposed to say whisky?
More hops, sugar etc to go mouldy
Yes, you will certainly (feel like you want to) die.
RIP Charlie
only last week i ate a tin of tapioca
found in a cleanout of my works locker
best before 03 2008
looked ok, smelled ok, tasted great!
a while back someone gave me a slab of john smiths bitter 3 years out of date
ripped open a few cans after drinking the contents
yup, tasted fine
I'm just struggling with the concept that anyone can keep beer past its sell by date 😉
I think cans are ok. The are going to be completely airtight. These were bottles.
