I seem to be using my monthly 500mb very quickly on my phone. Is it stw?
i doubt it. Have you disabled push?
When I checked a few months ago, it was in the region of 2-2.5mb per page. Varies a lot though based on how many images in a thread, and can be far greater than that on a picture heavy thread. Would be good if there was an option to disable images in posts.
Opera Mini has the option to hide pics. It also runs the pages through a proxy, recompressing the images and reformatting the page to suit the device on the fly.
its the images which bulk it out on here.
on my android (Dolphin browser) I have a gesture which turns image loading on or off. Generally off unless a lazy web dev hasnt put text behind a hyperlink button and I need to turn it on to see what to press.
Skyfire/Opera here if browsing STW on 3G. Too much daytah if on Safari.
